Monitoring resource usage or environmental factors within the home presents a series of challenges.  Overcoming these challenges was the driving force behind the creation of Kirkwood Labs, and creating innovative ways of measuring and analyzing home resource usage remains one of our primary focal points.  Included in this section are topics that address the specific challenges and innovative approaches to home monitoring.
