Kirkwood Labs is a tightly knit group of individuals located in Austin, Texas who share a common goal: to enable business and individuals to better monitor and manage their resource consumption.  Founded in 2005, Kirkwood Labs has developed an array of projects to address gaps within the resource-monitoring marketplace.  

Our ultimate goal is to bring to market an array of sensor products that will enable measurement of resource usage in all of its forms.  Part of this goal is not only to measure how and where resources is being used in your home or business, but to help you to understand how you can reduce or optimize your usage patterns to lower your overall carbon footprint.  It is not enough to simply measure the resources you consume.  You must also know exactly what those resources added in value to your life or business.
